I grew up in the small southeast Texas town of Kirbyville, which shaped much of who I am today. I struggled with depression and found myself constantly seeking the approval of others. My life changed forever during my junior year of High School when I met Jesus and gave my life to him.<br /> I've been married to my wife Kristen for 17 years, and together we have three wonderful children. I served as an executive director and pastor at The Village Church for nine years and I'm honored to play a small part in helping plant Every City Church.<br /> My hope for ECC is that people would encounter Jesus through the genuine hospitality and love demonstrated by their neighbors, transforming lives just as my own was changed.
